@ USDM JAM (USDMジャムにて）

こんにちは、ジョージです。ヴァーデイクトは三重県で行なわれたUSDM JAMに参加いたしました。このイベントは毎年、三重県で行なわれるととても大きなイベントで、多くの車好きが集まるイベントです。実はハワイで知り合ってよく遊んだてっちゃん事ヤマズストアー代表山口テツヤさん

ているイベントです！毎年誘われていたのですがお仕事が忙しくなかなか行く機会がなかったのでとても楽しみでした！特に僕の友達のヒロさんの仲間たちがイベントに愛車を出展していたので一緒にドライブイン！

それにしても遠い！ゴールデンウィークと言うこともあったのですが約8時間、さすがに東京からのドライブはシンドイ！！嘘みたいな渋滞にうんざり（自分は助手席でしたが！）でも時間かけて行った甲斐がありました。すごい数のかっこいいマシンが集まりイベントは大成功でした。ブースもあったのでシャツも展示できたしステッカーも配れたし。ヒロさん、ありがとう！次のイベントはブルースライブツアーインジャパン、僕も東京でのイベントは参加いたしますので是非皆イベントに遊びに来てね！リミテッドエディションジャパンツアーオフィシャルテイーシャツも販売いたしていますのでよろしく！！！

Wassup everyone, George reporting from Japan. So after many years, I finally got a chance to attend my friend Tetsu (owner of yamazstore) event, USDM JAM out in Mie area! I have known Tetsu for while, back from Hawaii ever since I was into car's. He has this event every year and is always a success. This year, my friend entered his ride so got to ride with him out to Mie. Man, was a far ride from Tokyo, roughly about 8 hours with some bad Golden week traffic although it was well worth the travel. Got to see a lot of nice rides and was able to introduce Verdikt clothing, big Mahalo's to my friend Hiro for letting me display shirts and sticker at the booth!! Next event, Bruce's Live Japan tour!! I will be attending the Tokyo event, selling Verdikt X Bruce special collaboration tour T-shirts, hope to see everyone there!!

Race to Help Japan

桜-Sakura

Hey wassup everyone, its George coming straight from Tokyo. Japan has been going through a lot of tragedy, a big quake and the Tsunami following it. My prayer goes out to all of the victims from this natural disaster. With all this mess thats happening, the Sakura is still blooming. We are still having few aftershocks but the things are finally starting to pick up. Looking at these Sakura gives me a strength and hope, very nice to see more people back in action slowly getting back to their daily life. Although we still have a lot to recover, I am sure that the Sakura will give power and hope to everyone here and because Japan is such a strong country, I am very confident that we will rebound back from this tragedy very soon.

Verdikt is now available at The Ukebox in Hawaii! They are located in the Pacific Beach Hotel in Waikiki, in the middle of Paradise. Yes, I miss my homeland! Well..I don't know if I can call it my homeland because I wasn't born there but you know...I lived there long enough. Bruce, Isaac and Aki sell and teach "ukulele" which is the traditional Hawaiian instrument. I remember taking ukulele lessons in my elementary school. Let me tell you..it's not easy!

I'm really excited to work with them because it really ties into my brand. Verdikt is about cultures coming together. I only learned recently, but there's such a HUGE "ukulele" following in Japan! It's so awesome.

Bruce is also doing a tour in Japan this May. We are sponsoring him and providing him with shirts for the tour. We will be selling Verdikt x Bruce shirts and will be donating a percentage of all proceeds to the victims in Japan. My whole family lives in Japan and this tragedy hit way too close to home! I'm so glad they are okay but my heart goes out to anyone who was affected by this disaster. I would like to dedicate everything to all those people (and pets) fighting to survive. 頑張れ日本!! Okay..I'll stop before I get super emotional.

Verdikt x Bruce Shimabukuro

Do you guys know Bruce Shimabukuro? YES! He's Jake Shimabukuro's (the reaaally famous ukulele player) brother. Verdikt will be collaborating with him on his new tour coming up in May in Japan. His tour will take place in Yokohama, Tokyo, Osaka, Kobe, Saitama and more!

He also has a new store in the Pacific Beach Hotel in Oahu where he gives ukulele lessons. It's called The Ukebox. My shirts will also be available there. I haven't actually met him yet...I know his partner Isaac. But he seems like a really cool guy. He says "hahaha" a lot in his blog..lol!

I'm really excited for this project. I feel like my brand really compliments what he is doing. After all, we're both being real with ourselves and doing what we really love..right? And representing Hawaii!

Japan 2010

Wassup everyone!! Its been about month and a half since I moved back to Japan and I am speechless!! Many new development, city full of neon and bars!! I've always heard about Christmas being solid in Tokyo but never expect to be this awesome! Hopefully I'll be able to deliver some hot info straight up from Tokyo!
